ED Raids Homes of Dinesh Khodania and others in Exam Scandal: Seizes 24 Lakh

On 13.10.2023, the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) conducted search operations in the Senior Teacher 2nd Grade Competitive Examination, 2022 Paper Leak case at 07 residential premises of Dinesh Khodania, Ashok Kumar Jain, Spurdha Chaudhary, Suresh Dhaka, and others under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. Various incriminating documents, copies of sale deeds for various properties, electronic equipment, and INR 24 lakh were recovered and seized during the search operations. 

The ED has launched an inquiry based on FIRs/Charge sheets registered/filed by Rajasthan Police under various sections of the IPC against Bhupendra Saran and other associated individuals. 

According to an ED investigation, the accused persons colluded to leak the question paper of the General Knowledge of Senior Teacher Grade II Competitive Examination, 2022, which was scheduled to be conducted by RPSC on 21.12.2022, 22.12.2022, and 24.12.2022 and provided it to appearing candidates for a consideration amount of Rs. 8 to 10 lakh per candidate. 

Previously, on 05.06.2023, the ED conducted a search at 15 premises in this case, resulting in the recovery of incriminating documents/digital records; on 18.08.2023, the ED provisionally attached the Dinesh Khodania, Ashok Kumar Jain, Spurdha Chaudhary, Suresh Dhaka, and others movable and immovable properties worth Rs. 3,11,93,597.88/-; and arrested three accused persons, Babulal Katara, Anil Kumar Meena AKA Sher Singh Meena, and Bhupendra Saran. More research is being conducted.
