Boeing, a big airplane maker from the United States, has started flying its 737 Max Jets back home from China. These planes were made for Chinese airlines but are now being refused.

Planes Returned in the Middle of Trade Fight

The planes are the 737 Max jets, a popular type used by many airlines around the world.

This situation happened because of a growing fight between the two biggest countries in the world — the United States and China. They are not happy with each other over trade and business. Recently, China told its airlines to stop accepting new planes from Boeing. This means Boeing now has many finished airplanes with no one to take them.

The first airplane, which was supposed to go to Xiamen Air, flew from Zhoushan, China, to Guam, a small island in the Pacific Ocean. It was the first step on its way back to the United States. This same plane had arrived in China earlier from Seattle, stopping in Hawaii and Guam on the way.

Two more Boeing planes are also waiting in China. They were built for other Chinese airlines but are now stuck there. Boeing has not said anything about the return flights. Xiamen Air also did not answer when asked about it.

President Blames China Over Cancelled Deal

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, spoke out after hearing the news. He said China had broken a promise to buy many Boeing planes. He called it a “big Boeing deal” and said China went back on their word. This added more anger to the trade fight between the two countries.

At the same time, China told its airlines not to buy airplane equipment or spare parts from American companies. This includes parts that help planes fly safely. That means not just full airplanes, but also the small pieces used to fix or build them will no longer be bought from the US.

Boeing’s own website showed that by the end of March, it still had 130 airplanes ordered by Chinese customers. These customers include big airlines and companies that rent airplanes. Now, many of those orders could be in trouble if China continues to reject the planes.

The 737 Max is an important plane for Boeing. It is used for short and medium flights and has helped many airlines around the world save money. But if China refuses to accept 737 Max Jets, Boeing could face big problems. The company may have to find new buyers for the jets or keep them sitting on the ground.

Boeing’s China Center Now Silent

The place where Boeing finishes some of its planes in China is called the Zhoushan Completion Center. It is a large factory where the final work on airplanes is done including 7373 Max Jets. Workers there get the planes ready for customers, adding seats, painting logos, and checking safety systems.

Now that Chinese airlines are not accepting the planes, this factory may become very quiet. The airplane that was just flown back had been completed at Zhoushan. It left from there without being delivered to the customer, which is very unusual in the airplane world.

The company that tracks airplane flights, called FlightRadar24, showed the journey of the airplane in real time. It confirmed the plane went from China to Guam, a sign that it was being returned to the US. Another company, Aviation Flights Group, reported that two more Boeing planes are also stuck in China with nowhere to go.

These planes are likely to be flown back soon too. This shows how serious the trade fight has become. Airplanes are big products and cost millions of dollars. When they get refused, it sends a strong message.

Many workers in the United States build parts of the 737 Max. They work in factories in places like Renton, near Seattle. Photos from last week showed workers walking past rows of these planes at the Boeing facility. Now, some of these planes are coming back instead of going to customers.

This problem is not just about airplanes. It is also about power, business, and who controls what. The United States and China are both trying to show strength. But in the middle of this fight, companies like Boeing and their workers are the ones feeling the effects.

As more planes come back from China, the world is watching what happens next. Boeing must now deal with extra planes, empty factories, and lost deals. The skies between the US and China are full of airplanes, but also full of tension.
