The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) has released a set of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. These documents, which total around 200 pages, contain details about Epstein’s vast network of connections, including a contact list with many well-known individuals. Among the names included are members of the Trump family, making this release a significant moment in the ongoing revelations surrounding Epstein’s past.
Trump Family Members Named in the Files
One of the most surprising revelations in this document release is the appearance of Trump family members in Epstein’s contact list. Both Ivana Trump and Ivanka Trump were found among the names. However, the documents do not provide evidence of any wrongdoing by them or confirm any direct involvement in Epstein’s illegal activities.
It is important to note that Epstein’s contact list included a wide range of people, from politicians and celebrities to business figures. Simply being on the list does not necessarily indicate a close relationship or involvement in any criminal acts. The released documents do not show if or how Ivana Trump and Ivanka Trump interacted with Epstein beyond being listed in his contacts.
High-Profile Individuals Listed in the Files
The DOJ documents also contain names of many other famous individuals. Among them are well-known entertainers, politicians, businesspeople, and even members of prominent families. Some of the names found in Epstein’s contact list include legendary musician Mick Jagger, actor Alec Baldwin, pop star Michael Jackson, supermodel Naomi Campbell, and actor Ralph Fiennes.

Other individuals listed are former politicians and influential figures such as former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, former Secretary of State John Kerry, and late Senator Ted Kennedy. Additionally, lawyer Alan Dershowitz and businessman Jon Huntsman are also included in the files.
The document set also contains a redacted list of 254 individuals labeled as masseuses. Their names have been blacked out as they were considered victims. The flight logs of Epstein’s private jet, often called the “Lolita Express,” were included in the release. However, these logs had already been made public in previous disclosures, and no new revelations were found in this regard.
Reaction to the Document Release
The release of these documents was widely anticipated, with many hoping for major new revelations about Epstein’s network. However, the contents largely reaffirm what was already known—that Epstein had an extensive list of high-profile contacts. The DOJ clarified that this document set should not be considered a “client list” or proof that the individuals named were involved in any illegal activities.

Some people expressed disappointment with the lack of significant new details. Conservative commentator Liz Wheeler, who reviewed the documents early, noted in a livestream that they did not contain major bombshells. The reaction from the public has been mixed, with some believing that future document releases may contain more revealing information.
Debunked Image Linking Trump and Epstein
In a separate matter, an altered photograph falsely linking President Donald Trump to Epstein was debunked by the Associated Press. The manipulated image showed Trump kissing a young Ivanka Trump near Epstein, but AP confirmed that the original photo, taken in 1993, did not include Epstein. The real image was from the grand opening of the Harley-Davidson Cafe in New York City and was taken by celebrity photographer Ron Galella.
While Trump had acknowledged knowing Epstein in a 2002 interview, he later distanced himself from him. White House counselor Kellyanne Conway had previously stated that Trump had not been in contact with Epstein for more than ten years before Epstein’s arrest.
The DOJ has indicated that this release is only the first phase of its disclosures related to Epstein’s case. The public remains interested in learning more about Epstein’s connections and how deep his network of influence ran. Whether future releases will contain new revelations remains to be seen.
