ED filed supplementary Complaints against Pawanjay Steel and Power Ltd. & Ors in the Coal Block case. The Hon’ble Court of Special Judge (PC Act) (CBI) (Coal Block Cases) -02, Rouse Avenue District Court, New Delhi, on 19-09-2022 has taken cognizance of offence of money laundering under PMLA 2002 in the Coal Block case of M/s. Pawanjay Steel and Power Ltd. & Ors after considering the First prosecution complaint filed in 2018 and supplementary Prosecution Complaints filed in 2022 by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
ED had recorded money laundering case against M/s. Pawanjay Steel & Power Ltd and others under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 for alleged Coal Block Scam based on FIR lodged by CBI for commission of offences under various section of IPC. Provisional attachment of properties valued to Rs.1.04 Crore was also confirmed by the Ld. Adjudicating Authority.
